Who can apply?
The Register is open to those hairdressers and barbers who comply with the South Australia Hairdressers Act 1988 (Act), and who also fit the criteria of a skilled and experienced hairdresser as set out from time to time by SAHBA, the peak body for the South Australian hair and beauty industry.
To be considered for the SA Qualified Register in South Australia you are required to comply with one of the following:
- If You Qualified Through an Apprenticeship – you will need to provide one of the following:
- Certificate of Competency – also known as Trade Certificate (if from SA)
- Hairdressers License (if from interstate)
- Registration (if from SA or interstate)
